Job description

We are looking for a residential and yacht upholsterer to strengthen our team. In this role, you will work together with colleagues on projects for luxury yachts and private clients. As an upholsterer, you will mainly work on-site, installing various types of flooring, window coverings including electric blinds, and furniture.

At Zijlstra, a lot of custom-made products are created, which are installed on location. The role is highly varied, no two days are the same.

Job requirements
Have you become enthusiastic about the position? Then check the conditions below:

  • Preferably a few years of relevant work experience, but internal training is also possible;
  • Flexible attitude;
  • Material knowledge such as upholstery, flooring and window coverings;
  • Affinity with the yacht and residential interior industry;
  • Representative and customer-oriented;
  • Full-time availability;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • In possession of a valid category B driving licence;


What we offer
As a residential and yacht upholsterer, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself within our team. In addition, we offer:

  • Salary in accordance with the collective labour agreement (CAO), depending on experience and education;
